Sporty kick-off at the KfW Management Conference
Management meeting for 600 participants
The KfW Management Conference is a meeting for the management and leadership level of the KfW Banking Group. This year, we welcomed nearly 600 guests at Deutsche Bank Park. The conference serves as one of the most important KfW-internal communication and active participation formats for company-relevant topics for the leadership team. In this context, we had the task of designing the event in accordance with the goal of not only informing, but also motivating and entertaining.
The KfW Sports Studio
The conference conceptually revolved around the sporting theme and took place in the setting of a sports studio. The athletic orientation was clearly signaled by hosting it in the stadium. The authentic setting, for which our design and space units were responsible, was complemented by staging elements, such as the imitation of a live broadcast from the stadium. Besides the athletic stage design, the sporting theme ran through all areas and agenda items of the event. One of the highlights was the branded jerseys, which perfectly integrated all participants into the set image.
Varied program with genuine involvement
In order to successfully and effectively address the executives, we focused on creating relevant content that provided added value to the attendees and could be authentically integrated into the brand's framework and guidelines, in addition to the points set and organized by KfW. The content revolved around the areas of agility, employee potential, and transformation. We complemented the agenda with activating elements that motivated the participants to engage and participate. A key part of this was Robeat, the European Beatbox Champion, who subtly recorded a common song with the guests through progressive activation parts. In keeping with this, our choreographer Nicole Hodolik practiced a fan choreography with the participants. In the concluding highlight, symbols that fit the guiding theme were created and projected onto the stadium cube using a video drone.
Within the KfW's agenda, guests could participate in a voluntary running training with Sibylle Gottschalk, the national coach in triathlon, as well as have Steffi Jones, former national soccer player and coach, explain the parallels between her soccer career and entrepreneurial actions. Following the day program, there was an evening event where participants let the day fade out in the look of a locker room party. Our team on site took over the direction of the program for all points, ensuring that the participants could spend an informative, entertaining, and motivating day.
